Rug delivery times and options
We offer fast delivery Australia-wide and dispatching all orders within 1 to 3 business days.
You will be updated via e-mail with a tracking link and you can monitor your rugs delivery online. We take responsibility to deliver your order at ground level only. We use a combination of Fastway, Couriers Please, and Hunter Express.
All orders have a shipping cost of $29.95 Australia-wide. For NT and some remote areas, shipping cost can be more than that. Please contact us to get an estimated shipping cost before placing order.
Please note: We do not deliver to PO Box address. A valid street address is required to process the order.
Authority To Leave
The courier companies we use offer 'ATL' (Authority To Leave). This means that you may have them leave the rug somewhere safe if you will not be at home at time of delivery.
Once the rug has been delivered to you, we are unfortunately not able to assist in the event of your rug being stolen or going missing.
Unitex offers exclusive range of Brink & Campman, Ted Baker, Bluebellgray, Harlequin, Scion and Sanderson Designer Rugs. Each rug go through our strict quality control process to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. Please allow some extra delivery time for designer rugs.
We ship rugs daily to all metro areas of Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth. We also cover all outside metro areas within NSW, QLD, VIC, WA and ACT.
Delivery times will vary, but the following information provides an estimate of delivery times throughout Australia from time of dispatch:
Sydney: 2 - 3 Working Days
Melbourne: 3 - 5 Working Days
Brisbane: 3 - 5 Working Days
Perth : 5 - 7 Working Days
Northern Territory: Rugs to this location will take up to two weeks from dispatch.
We have designed our policy to ensure minimal hassle to you, should something out of the ordinary occur during the purchase process.
We will be unable to process returns for incorrectly packaged rugs.
3 steps to follow:
1. Any problems, just let us know within 5 days!
2. We’ll give you an RA (Return Authorisation) number and a label to print out.
3. Rug will be collected and refund/replacement processed once inspected.
You will be issued with an RA (Return Authorisation) number by us. Please keep this safe to avoid future problems with the processing of your return!
We'll then have the rug picked up and issue a credit back to you as soon as it's been delivered back here.
Note: If you receive an RA number, place that on the outside of the package when it’s being picked up! You’ll be e-mailed an easy to print label from us that can go on the outside of this package.
Note: Returns from NT, Regional and Remote areas may incur additional expenses and be deducted from your total refund amount.
Damaged during transit:
If you notice that the rug has been damaged during transit -
Please refuse that shipment and let us know what has happened. You can then choose to either receive a full refund, or we can have another rug shipped out to you (normally the replacement rug will start its journey on the same day you notify us!).
If you only realise it’s been damaged after accepting the rug... Still no problem, just let us know and we will have the rug picked up and you’re still able to choose those two options of a full refund or having the rug replaced.
Note: Any images you can provide us are much appreciated and can help speed up the returns process.
Change of Mind:
We want you to feel confident when buying from us. Should you change your mind about a purchase you have made with us, you have the option of returning the item within 5 days of having received it and can opt for a full refund, no questions asked! You will be responsible for all shipping charges to facilitate change of mind return.
Must contact us within 5 days of receiving your order. We will have trouble processing any claims outside of this time period.
We require the returned product(s) to be unused and in the original packaging. Any items that are not returned to us in the original packaging and/or in original condition will incur an additional handling fee (deducted from your refund). This also includes not packing the item up sufficiently to avoid damage in transit back to us. Please use the packing material the item was sent with or contact us to get more advice on this.
Items returned must be in 'as-new' condition. This means you have not used, assembled, damaged or washed any of the items.
Please also note that Unitex accepts no responsibility for incorrectly packaged rug returns and will be unable to process refunds for rugs damaged in transit due to incorrect packaging methods. If this does occur, we may send the rug back to you plus shipping costs to your destination if you wish to do so or a handling and restocking fee may apply up to 20% of the value of the item.
On an average, return shipping cost will be $29.95 but these charges can vary depending on cubic weight of rug/s and pickup address. Please contact us to check return charges.
Wrong or Damaged Item:
Errors include, but are not limited to, wrong size, wrong address, wrong item, duplicate shipment, cancelled order prior to ship date. Again, just let us know and we will be extremely surprised we have made a mistake and do our best to make it up to you by issuing a full refund or replacement rug.
Please be aware refund can take up to 3-4 business days after you have returned the item in our warehouse, as we need to inspect the item. Once everything went well, we’ll send you Refund Notification via email.
