WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DRINKING HANGOVER TEA?
Dr Nat Kringoudis is our chief Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Practitioner and our Ambassador and explains how the Your Tea blends work.
Hangover Tea is a unique blend of Chinese Herbs specifically formulated to nurse you back to feeling fabulous. This blend has been created to encapsulate the benefits of treating both the root cause of a hangover as well as its horrible symptoms.
The winning ingredient in the formulation is a herb called Pu Going Yin. ItÍs wildly loved for its ability to go work on the liver to cleanse, detoxify and help to flush out toxins via the urine. Because it also helps to cool the body itÍs useful to treat headaches too.
Ge Gen is another TCM herb that helps to treat the effects of dehydration by nourishing fluids and working on the gut to restore any ill effects of alcohol. This means that the bowels are also looked after (preventing the aftermath of loose bowels post alcohol).
One of the other key ingredients is Chamomile, well recognised for its soothing and calming effects. It supports the liver, which aids in treating headaches, blood shot eyes, dizziness, and general malaise. The detoxification support that Chamomile provides is also another very welcome effect.
Hangover Tea is designed to be consumed consecutively over 20 days (2 x a day) 30 minutes before or after meals, but can also be consumed as needed. Brew for 5-7 minutes at a time. We always recommend listening to how your body feels whilst on the tea.
Hot tip: Feel free to add a squeeze of lemon or dash of honey.

About this seller
Your Tea creates tea blends for modern health, from ancient wisdom. Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and created by TCM Doctors, our natural herbal ingredients have been restoring harmony, vitality and balance for centuries.
They say the way to man’s heart is through his gut. True, but imperfect information. It is actually the way to the mind, body and soul of women and men alike. When balance is achieved in the gut the balance can be achieved in the body. Which is why Your Tea has developed a range of blends that go to work to balance gut health.
We understand that finding the right tea can be like trying to eat olives with chopsticks.
